    Superb

We had the most wonderful 2 weeks at Eden Andalou. We weren't expecting 5 star because we hadn't paid 5 star prices, and we were thrilled with the resort. Quiet relaxing, great connections to Marakech. The staff were lovely and we made a lot of friends. I've travelled widely and have to say having stayed at some so called European 5 star hotels, that Eden Andalou rates in may ways a great deal better than some I've stayed at. My kids loved the pools and the waterpark. Our family room was really spacious, crisp white linen, very particular maids and room was well equipped. I have to say a big thank you to the kitchen staff, the range and quality of the food was excellent, and everyday there were numerous new and different dishes. Its always a gamble when you pay 3 star prices and try to imagine how close a suggested 5 star hotel will be. We were not at all disappointed, we have already planned to come back. The gardens are beautiful and the whole place is very tranquil. I've read some of the other reviews and have to say, I'm bewildered as to why some guests were unhappy. My 2 kids, 14 and 11, loved it and we have some really lovely memories. I'm usually very fussy, but for the price we paid Eden Andalou was wonderful, and a terrific introduction to Morocco.

Lack of good sports equipment for kiddies, tennis courts out of action. Nothing else.

Great views from the outdoor swimming pool and gardens to the Atlas Mountains.

Location is a bit far, though there are hourly shuttle services to and from the hotel.

It is a beautiful hotel with good facilities & activities for the whole family. Breakfast was very good. The rooms were beautiful & spacious. Great value for money, we wished we had stayed longer as we felt so comfortable.

The service at reception wasnt great was a long wait for checking out

    Fabulous

The staff were all really friendly and courteous, each one acknowledging us with a hello and a smile. The pools are heavenly and the decor and spacious suites give a great feeling of luxury. The added Aquapark is also a bonus for families.

Our son had a nasty accident at the Aquapark as he slipped on the wet floor alongside the pool. His foot was sliced open on some ragged concrete leaving him with a gash of about 4 inches. We were shocked to discover there was no first aider nor even a first aid kit at all! The only thing offered was liquid iodine and cotton wool which we could not use as it would've stuck to the wound. We ended up wrapping our daughter's dress around his foot and carryied him into the hotel. The hotel called a doctor who stitched his foot in the lobby whereas I would've expected to be offered somewhere private. No record of the accident was noted and although some staff showed concern, we were left alone with the doctor and there was no offer to assist with the cost of the treatment even though it was their liability.

For us, it was just what we needed - 5 of us including 3 children under 10 and the hotels facilities were good, pools were amazing and staff always helpful, friendly and courteous. We've already booked to go back. There are some reviews that don't show the hotel in the best light - we went with the idea of enjoying ourselves in Marrakech and our stay at Eden Andalou. It is not a 5 star in European standards but perfectly adequate for what we wanted and under £100 a night for five of us.

Some of the extra optional costs were high, but expected I suppose. £2 for 1.5 litres of water whereas outside the hotel 6 1.5 litres of the same brand cost just over £2. Internet which I really needed cost 350 dh for 7 days - about £28. Ice lollies in the hotel shop £3, but notices in room and reception that food and drink can't be brought in from outside. Nothing to detract from an excellent stay though.

    Good

    great swimmingpool, rooms were o.k.

The whole day there was very loud music at the swimmingpool, no way to escape from that. And also in the evening there was live music and no way to escape. A pity, because the place is o.k. except for the noise. Avoid this hotel if you don,t like this kind of entertainment.

    Superb

Relaxing and out of hussle and bustle of the medina the shuttle buses are ideal but look at comment below. Extremely clean place and variety of good food on offer. Would return and value for money.

I respect not being able to speak French but we as a British couple were treated differently at lunch time we did complain and we were offered an apology in front of the lunch time staff and a complimentary fruit bowl and drinks no need for this as all we wanted was to be treated the same as everyone else. Experienced hassle when shuttle bus entered medina as the shuttle bus drivers phone ahead and let the unofficial guides know there are new tourists on the bus and they hassle to guide you and charge over the top and take you to their relatives shops so they all in for the deal and direct u the long way around to the square . We saw this happen to loads of people. Be vigilant and follow the crowd and you will end up in the square!!!!

    Very good

The hotel was lovely, nice big rooms and the decor is amazing. Breakfast has a good selection.

A lot of the staff dont speak english properly and miss-understand you all the time, in addition it seemed the hotel was more for local or arab background people than for western tourists, as all activities or anything going on around the hotel was given priority to them. The pool area at the time we were was also taken by kids - both of them which is not so pleasant if you want to relax.

    i did not like anything

the front desk customer service , they are so cheap with everthing , its too dark in the hallway at night , they turn all the light off , they should give you a flash light during your stay so you can see your way around

The room was big and quite clean

This hotel is definitely not a 5 star! The breakfast is poor. The hotel is at 15 minutes from downtown. There is a shuttle bus but the last is at 8.30 p.m The hotel did not accept the credit card (for a mysterious connection problem...) forcing me to pay in cash.

    Nothing

Everything! - staff - Room - Breakfast very bad - You have to pay for the Gym, thing that i never see in any 5* hôtel in the world. - Room service very bad. You have to call them many times to clean the room and for the towels. - i will never return to this hôtel even for free.

    Very good

Eden Andalou is a gorgeous resort. We went with 2 young children and they loved it as there is plenty of space for kids to run around. The food was delicious, staff were friendly. Rooms were cleaned everyday. There is a nursery for children to play at. Overall our stay was fabulous!!

The heated pool wasnt heated, was cold most of the time.

The hotel's garden and pool area was beautiful.

It's a beautiful hotel but unfortunately its not well maintained for being a 5 star hotel and the cleanliness was very lacking.

    Architecture

Bad food, quality of service, lack of internet, far away from town, expensive, room very cold, ripped off for transportation by reception, unfriendly guests. I definitely do not recommend this place to anyone!
